Correct, but an aspiring manager would be eaten alive by the mess here, it would destroy his career before it even got started.
I doubt that very much based on the careers of our failed managers so far.
Every manager should want to test their mettle in the premier league. If they believe in their own ability, they would take the job as Everton manager. We are still a premier league team, even if we’re barely a shadow of what we were a mere decade ago. A manager coming here and solving this mess would make him an instant contender for much bigger jobs.
The problem is with our board, being so small minded they go for people like that spanish slug or Dyche, insted of doing the work to identify someone managing outside of England. We havent had an ‘unproven’ manager since Moyes.

Are you sure you have looked at the position we are in at the moment. The Everton job has nothing to recommend it to any bar the desperate, we can't even tempt a good manager by paying them top money as we're pretty much skint. All this talk of managers coming here to test themselves is, in my opinion, based in cloud cuckoo land. We are a poisoned chalice for any manager, only the desperate will take a chance for the salary we can offer.

Don't get me wrong, I don't rate Dyche and I didn't want him here, but, it's time to get a grip and just reflect on what position we are in. Even if we thought we could attract a decent manager. I doubt if we could even afford to pay off Dyche, Stone and Woan.

I saw someone with a poll on twitter about this being the most depressing time to be an Evertonian.
I don't feel super depressed by Everton at the moment, primarily because I dont feel much attachment to everton at the moment.
I think Coleman is the only player I feel any kind of pride in.
I just dont feel any connection to Dyches everton. Was the same under Allardyce, didnt think I'd see it again so quickly.
(that's not a comment on playing style, just a general mood)
You are not alone mate.

Too early to play Dom and Beto up front translates to i am going to continue parking the bus and playing hoof ball because it has worked out so well so far.

His press conferences are absolutely pointless. No real questions and the same cack responses every time.

He may as well just come on for 10 seconds and just say same as previous and save everyone 20 minutes of their lives.
Would be made up if we were ready for it really, but I think we need both of them on for the last half hour or so. Would like to see less of Doucoure in his current role and see Garner tuck into a midfield role if he starts RM again(?). Would like to see McNeil/Harrison swap at some point. But 3 points should be the only goal. Although I am reserving an opinion until our cup game against Villa, we need some working signs before that.

At his press conferences all he ever talks about is how long a player has been on the grass and getting each player fitter, how about improving patterns of play, working on corners at both ends of the field, we look like a team who just don’t know how to play or pass the ball.

He really is on borrowed time, I personally think he has 2 games Brentford and Luton.

Dyche, like the players, has no bond with the fans. And the fans are now gradually realising the scale of ineptitude of Kenwright and co. There would be no harm in taking a punt at a new manager, if we can afford paying off Peanut head..
Lampard was more personable and honest, Dyche is sound bites and politicians answers.
I can see why he is not connecting with the fans.

So too early for Dom and Beto as a pair. Fine Sean, but but you darn well better some other ideas to change it elsewhere then. If we see the same formation and midfield again the outcome writes itself.

I was going to ask what the ginger ball bag said, but from this I guess the same old.

The narrative we can’t afford sack them is rubbish imo. 777 could pay for it, if they think the club needs a change. They sacked the hertha manager a month into their ownership.

And dyche will be on 90% more money than most of the managers in Europe.
This is the premier league, silva coming over to manage hull, got him the Watford job, which got him the Everton job. Potter coming over got him the Chelsea, and there’s plenty of other examples.

Bill and his lackeys in the boardroom always wanted the safe option, moshiri was obviously swayed by the agents in his ear or his ego. I think Thelwell wanted Corberan. We need a plan and long term mananger, we ain’t getting anywhere long term with dyche, he’s proving to be a terrible manager, which most of knew anyway
