2024/25 Sean Dyche

Hasn't done himself any favors on a new contract after yesterday on reflection.

His goose has been cooked.

I suggested Araujo here before they signed him.

But they seem to be on a good way, listened to a interview of the owner. He really seems to have love for the club and sees it as a heart project and not personal investment to make money of.

They invest well also off the pitch, new facilities, new stadium and have manager that brings the basque football to them, which is very direct, but they seem to have improved on the pitch as well as their style looks advanced.

Their manager is definitely the reason why they are able to generate superior results.

If they had Dyche...they would be below us.

You would only take 3 of our players and add 8 individually from Leicester, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford and West Ham

3 Everton & 8 Leicester
3 Everton & 8 Fulham
Etc etc

Please meet @Nymzee -- you two should make comic books and sweet love together.

:) thanks for giving me a laugh this sunday :p

We'd barely take a single player from Ipswich, Southampton or Leicester combined for our team (even though it's not up to much).

West Ham should be top half easily with that squad:

Bowen, Kudus, Todibo, Alvarez, Soler, Summerville, Füllkrug, Kilman, Rodriguez I'd have them here. I also count Ward Prowse and Paqueta (I would have him as a footballer, but not personality)

Others I'd have also a few.

Lopetegui doesn't seem to have a grasp there this season to make these players work.

There's more players we'd take from West Ham than Bournemouth or Forest that's for sure. But West Ham aren't being coached properly and Moyes had lost his way last season.

I'd guess the preference would be to get to the end of the season and do a reset then without any pay-offs or too much trading in the January window.

Only works if we're still in the Premier league though.
Yeah although we’ve seen it before. New owners come in, say they are working with the new manager and then a few weeks later there’s a parting of the ways. If we’re safely mid table and well clear of danger then I guess he’ll stay but they might think steps need to be taken if we’re in a relegation scrap come Christmas.

Jep, just knowing from Spain Lopetegui is not per se a bad manager, but he's not someone like Thomas Frank or Iraola that adapts his system to the players available.

They were dire to watch under Moyes, but he got the results there.

West Ham are a mess mate and without going into all of the names,
Fullkrug flopping
Paqueta heads gone
Centre backs arent in sync
Rodriguez hasnt adapted
Etc etc and an ageing squad

A: Zabarnyi as I posted, I like but there is no way that you can look at the partnership of Branthwaite & Tarkowski and split that up (although Dyche seemingly has)

B: I believe Smith and Aarons are also used at RB and Araujo hasnt torn up trees as far as I can tell -- though i dont watch every game. I think based on current form Young is better than all 3.

C: Scott in a similar way to Zabarnyi may be good individually but hasnt made his premier league breakthrough yet imo. So i'll stick with Gana & Garner for now.

My team beats yours :p

STOP manga man.

Doesn't really matter any of this tbh. I don't think there is a huge difference in the quality of the two teams. They just have a better balance. They have attributes we're sorely lacking.

Jep, they have a really old squad for that they are probably top 10 invested money in the last 10 years as well.
