I actually think he is great in the position he is already in, but I can see the shouts to be played in the middle. He is a water carrier that can work completely isolated and actually create something out of nothing. He doesn't just exist to hold onto the ball like Iwobi did for us. He actually gets us going.

They can mate , but beyond the press our midfield looks constantly over run, our last two goals conceded all came through that central channel.

DCL looked uninterested yesterday - I’m at the point were he needs to come out of the team on attitude. Illy and McNeill looked like they were both carrying something.

I’m not convinced at McNeill at 10, sure he’s had a couple of effective games, now teams are aware of it I’m not sure he’s as effective. Not sure overall he has the ability to be long term Everton 10.

so our magician needs to address it and he doesn’t and can’t.

He would be great there, if he didn't have to pretend to be an auxiliary full back half the time.

Dom has scored 17 goals in his last 76 premier league appearances. He brings a lot to the team, but that's just not enough goals. It's got to improve, or we need to try something else. Beto, Chermiti or Broja really. Something has to change if Dom must persist with being an 8 goal a season striker.
