Did he just call us dogs?A very good article by The Esk tbh. Hard to disagree with anything he has written here. Worth reading even if you don't like the guy. Obviously the Dychettes wont like it at all.
What happens when dogs no longer like the dog food
There’s a tale told in most business schools around the world – it concerns a pet food company that stagnates. Despite numerous attempts at different marketing, branding, sales strategi…theesk.org
I normally don't either but he is spot on about why Dyche needs to go now.Wouldn't read anything that plonker wrote even if it was the winning lotto numbers.
No.Did he just call us dogs?
Leaving Branthwaite on the bench is a sacking offence on its own.
He is by far our best player & the club (business) most valuable asset by probably £40M….
If I were Branthwaite, I’d have told the ginger gym teacher to ram it & want away in Jan.
If I were the the owners, I would rid the club of this Mike Basset chancer with immediate effect.
I thought he should be given a chance, he has had it. He is right about mentality...his is suspect. How demotivating must it be to get orders to launch it forward and get back. It is saying to the team you are not capable of any more. The squad is better than he is. Get rid now.Hi tactics and team selections are just baffling. Calvert-Lewin is most likely to score from crosses into the box for him to get on the end of. We didn't do that last week until he was taken off, and didn't do it yesterday, until he was taken off. We've invested in a technically gifted number 10 in Ndiaye that we've been crying out for, and he's shoved him out to the left wing. Meanwhile, McNeil, who is left footed and can cross a ball, has been moved in to play number 10. Despite having Lindstrom and Ndiaye on the pitch yesterday, the main tactic was to launch the ball up the middle of the pitch. The extent of his tactical genius to get us a goal is to send a centre back to play up front to try and cause a bit of chaos. He's also leaving our best player on the bench because he has a weird obsession with Michael Keane. Branthwaite's presence changes how we play. He's our quickest defender by a mile and enables the back 4 to squeeze further up the pitch. He needs to be replaced before it's too late.
Do we actually think he starts Branthwaite next week? .. we know how stubborn he is & Southampton (cos they are bloody awful) didn’t create a lot.
I’m honestly not sure he does.
Really what like, is getting relegated not that importantI'm pretty heavily anti dyche but there's far too many question marks hanging over the club to sack him now
It’s possibly being skewed by the fact no one really expects anything to happen until we have the new owner in. Once they are official I think he goes straight up around the favourites for the sackMy point is there are 3 or 4 managers currently constantly been mentioned as been under pressure for weeks now .
He's not. Not a mention tonight anywhere.
Suppose it depends if you actually think we will get relegated given 1. We aren't in the relegation zone and 2. Dyche had these bad runs last season and we finished absolutely miles clear of the drop. Dyche is crap but we're not near in danger of the drop as it stands. We could easily appoint a manager in the vein of Russel Martin or Mckenna who whilst palying nicer stuff get worse results.Really what like, is getting relegated not that important
Will it take us over FFP thresholds? Do we even have the cash flow for it? It will cost 8 million to sack him, that's a new manager coming in having to finish 4 places above Dyche to make a 'profit' I'm not certain there's 4 places of improvement to be had with this squad without drastic investment.
