2024/25 Sean Dyche

We can do better then we are doing
No one expects us to be top 10.
Be nice to look forward to watching us play . To enjoy the actual game.
Not to be subjected to football that is the worst by some distance in the league.
No one can enjoy watching what we serve up. We lack quality. But what dyche is producing is cowardly, dreadful and not good enough .
For putting your centre half up front twice in a row when chasing a game and bringing on your best player to facilitate that is a sackable offence alone.
Honestly if people are happy for this to continue then football ain't for me.

You should count Watford mate, he finished 11th with them (hanging around 17th/18th in the Championship most the season until a bit of a surge at the end of the season when nothing to play for) ,

They then got rid of him for Zola for the next season and they got promoted

I thought id cut him some slack as the owners clearly didnt fancy him.
I posted last season i think he did what he had to do here. He done the job but we had sheff u & Burnley last year. Thats not his fault but it made life easier. I dont feel thats the case this year. We might not always get away with being his bigger version of burnley football club.

That’s not relevant because Luton were sat on about 25 points.

Of course it is.

And very relevant for all our blood pressure.

We were 1 point above the drop on 30 games in last season.

Despite the point dedicton - it was a great run of form late on in the season/from April that saw us pull away;

But we've still averaged 41 points for 3 seasons on the spin.

We were always going to be in a scrap this season. Dyche won't survive this season and if whoever comes in, whether Mourinho or some trendier pick like Glasner - if they don't have big money spent on pace/goals - then we'll be in the same boat next season too.

We'd need a pretty miraculous one to come in and start getting goals from Harrison (relegated with Leeds), Doucoure (relegated with Watford) and McNeil (relegated with Burnley).

Relying on Calvert-Lewin who has one eye on the door, with Young and Mykolenko supporting from the flanks.

Said it for about 5 years on here now - lack of ability across the final third/goals in this team dictates a scrap.

13th-17th is this Everton team. Small margins Higher end if luck/injuries on our side, lower end if not.

These are all Dyche’s favourite players hahahahahahaha add into that Michael Keane who’s keeping £70m rated Jarrad Branthwaite out of the team.

That’s because we had 8 points taken off us?!?!?!?

There's exception to rule, but when you have a front 3 that have all been relegated it's not a good sign. The headline is none of them score enough goals. Never have, and aren't going to start now.

We have fans who do nothing but slate Calvert-Lewin as being terrible, and then point at Dyche for us not being able to score goals.

In 83 games - Mykolenko hasn't registered a single Premier League assist because he can't beat a man and cross a ball. You ask him to cross the half way line an you lose the steady 6/10 he can give you defensively.
Harrison had 8, 8, 5 goals for Leeds with 10, 1, 8 assists, mostly LW, 3 and 3 for us mostly RW. He was very effective on the LW getting crosses in at pace and arriving late.
Dom is well known for his heading but we play with inverted wingers mostly and Fullbacks that don't go to the byline or even attempt many deep crosses.
We all know Dom isn't great at finishing 1v1 but there is no way Dyche is playing to his strengths which is headers and tap ins, which both come from the byline for the most part. It's ridiculous we don't do that. It's football 101 at this stage
Myko wouldn't always have to beat a man if he was going on the overlap which is essential when playing with inverting wingers either to distract a defender or offer the option. Dyche doesn't do that because of 6/10 defensively so it is on him we don't score more imo. We didn't lay a glove on Saints. That's embarrassing.

Having an arrogant, stubborn manager who throws players under the bus before, during and after matches with just months left on his contract, who doesn’t play his best players and who also has no interest whatsoever in the club or indeed any interest in coaching his players to be able to actually play WITH the ball, is a recipe for deep concern.
Mix in a load of players who are also in the last months of their contracts, players who know the managers favourites will ALWAYS be picked regardless of form or fitness and players who know the manager doesn’t fancy them and it’s a disaster already unraveling.

Anybody still clinging to the “be careful what you wish for” mantra needs to have a good stare in the mirror. I can personally see this season mirroring his last at Burnley where they left it too late to get rid of his enforced negativity.
