Do not let the loyalists convince you

We are in a relegation scrap because our manager is a bottom feeder. It easier for him to defend himself by telling the world how bad we are

#DycheOut
He is smart in this way. The first job as a manager in any sport is keeping the job. You're the easy fall guy. And he's smart to constantly make it seem like he's achieving something. It got him a decade at Burnley. It has bought him too much time here.

….so;

Branthwaite starts;
Ndiaye & Lindstrom start;
Harrison and Keane benched;
Ndiaye switched to no10 role;
Beto brought on to play alongside DCL. Two up top;
24 efforts on goal.

Lack of quality.
Amen...but yeah easy to blame the manager...some have very short memory and already forgotten the terrible benitez and lampard period...

For me just showed his limitations today. What a chance to get 3 points and he blew it. If we had battered them and created loads of good opportunities then fair enough. But I don't recall any, that was just an awful display today and shows they worked on nothing the last two weeks.

His post match comments tonight are going to tip people over the edge. It’ll be all about the challenge of playing against 10, not taking ‘moments’ and being defensively tight. No reflection on his tactics that were outdated 10 years ago. No acknowledgement that it’s not good enough.

Could well be just that ....or lack of a game plan and tactical setup to win a game.

Didn't have any idea how to break them down and create chances, shouldn't that come from the training ground?
