If you take 3 million, in cash, out of the club, that means the club is worth 3 million less. That means the Moshiri gets 3 million less when he sells the club.

You hire another highly compensated employee that will be a liability for the new owner, that will affect the deal as well.

Are people really this naive? Everton FC is Farhad Moshiri until he no longer owns it.

It depends how involved Moshiri is during this period where he is awaiting approval on selling the club.

He has agreed to sell. It's just regulatory approval that's left to confirm it.

It’s not closed until it is. If he doesn’t something that affects the value of the club in this period, he will get less money. Does that sound logical from his perspective?

Benitez aside (because he was an aberration that should never have happened), has a manager ever had a colder relationship with the fans?

I’m a bit too young to remember much about Mike Walker, who I guess is a potential candidate.

Dyche just makes no effort with the fans, and never has. I can’t tell if he’s scared of us, dismissive of us… or both.

Dyche, Walter smith, Allardyce, benetiez, Lampard, Koeman… all terrible football all with different issues.
Dyche will be gone when the take over happens… just need that done.
