2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Not sure about that.

If he's still employed by the club that will be on the wage bill.
He's getting paid either way.
That won't be a loss to Moshiri.
It will be a liability on the balance sheet when the transaction goes through. Liabilities go up before closing, Moshiri gets less at settlement.

Guys this is basic stuff.

Scoring goals isn’t just a player problem, it’s a Sean Dyche problem and has plagued his tenure wherever he’s been for his entire managerial career, regardless of the players at his disposal. This is a fact.
Playing for set pieces, fortune and individual magic after he has tied his creative players shoelaces together in a defensive knot. It’s 2024, that’s still his masterplan and has never changed, ever.
It’s ok to say he did well last season, he did. This season, with a much improved squad in attacking areas and favourable fixtures has been absolutely unforgivable and shown him up for the negative, defend-at-all-costs (even in the number 10 position…) coward he is.
Football has evolved past him and his 2 besties while they just pretend to write something down and then chuck someone else up front (even an centre back when you’ve substituted other attackers) and hope for the best. Watching us labour in the second half against 10 men showed that the players work on absolutely nothing on trying to score goals, no quick passing to drag Brentford out of shape, no trying to go past players to take them out of the game, no doubling up to allow our extra man to gain advantage, no pushing up (until the last few minutes) to pin Brentford in. Today also showed for the second time this season that Beto and DCL have never been coached to play with each other. These issues are easily solved by a coach who has more than 1 way of playing football, apparently £5m a year and a magnificent new stadium won’t be enough to lure anyone other than this arrogant, gaslighting, snot rubbing helmet.

Ultimately yes it falls in the club balance sheet and prob more significantly onto our PSR calculation. But it’s a big 10 mill dump onto the balance sheet and someone is eating that cost either the new or existing owner as one or the other will be covering the clubs losses.

So who makes the decision now and who eats the cost now or later. That’s not straight forward.
Do you know for certain that’s how it works ? I’m guessing they would just keep paying him monthly for the next 18 months. And I’d imagine tweedle dumb and tweedle Dee won’t be on a lot. Doucoure wage won’t be far off

His wages are factored into the accounts until the end of the season.

As said , put him on gardening leave til June he gets his full pay.

Moshiri loses nothing.

Now this really is basic mate.

Aye mate, it will go on this years balance sheet as a cost regardless what terms we agree to actually pay the money into his account.

Its why i think it would take a lot and be last resort to actually sack him practically.

The other thing lids arent considering above is the cost of employing someone else and staff also.

The transaction is not settled in June. It will likely be settled in the next few weeks.

If there is a material change in the liabilities owed, that will be factored into the closing.

Or don’t believe me, I truly don’t care. I’m just sharing my experience

Its all coming apart now, we've got a centre forward who never s ores and is now just ambling through games. We've got a keeper who is so annoyed by his managers lack of action that he is sxreaming to the bench to ' make a f++++no change' , several players not seeming to know what is expected of them and the crowd starting to boo them off. We've seen all this before, it never ends well.

The new owner's will have already done their homework and I figure they will have a replacement on the back burner.

There is a cost to everything , they will be well aware of this.

The other option is can they really afford to keep Dyche on and possible ( most certain imo ) relegation.

That is a disgrace
It feels like the standard record of an awful relegation-threatened team that you know didn't win a game for ages at the start of the record. It's a pointless statistic essentially.

We've won 2 out of 12 and are only three points above the relegation zone, despite some very favourable fixtures. That's the bad record people should be focusing on.
