2024/25 Sean Dyche

Has he said “it was bad before I got here” yet?
FFS as if this clown would have got the job if we had a properly functioning team.

Dyche won the lottery simply because we were in the mire and it was deemed that he had the skillset to help us avoid relegation.

TBF he succeeded but we have regressed massively under him this season and clearly he has done nothing in terms of coaching and improvement of players to even attempt to deal with our underlying problems.

He was never the answer for any more than a salvage job.

He is incapable of building a team.

Good riddance Sean. It can't come soon enough.

Deafening silence still from the Dychettes. Must have been an emergency meeting pulled to get the party line straight… “decent outfit, new manager bounce, good half hour”. Will they appear on here tonight? Who is brave enough to put their head over the parapet and defend this utter fraud?

For someone who fancies themselves a bit of a wordsmith with his Diary of a CEO style business cliches and catchphrases, it’s bizarre he hasn’t realised that by saying that creating chances and scoring more goals is something he has spoken about endlessly with the players and has been working on since he arrived, that he is emphatically admitting he has failed in that task.

Not saying it’s easy, but could have learned a couple of languages or written some software to pick the correct team in that 2 years.

If you are still admitting in every interview to be trying to solve the same problem for 2 years it’s pretty clear you haven’t got the solution, or the ability to find the solution.

There is no positive case to make for him remaining in the job. None. He knows he’s gone 100%. He’s just treading water, picking up a pay cheque until the new owners come in, replace him, and he gets his settlement agreement for the balance of his contract.

All the others were rightfully sacked mid season yet some still defend him. Walking into relegation considering his defenders will argue we were going to be relegated under some of the below.

11 points from 13. - dyche
14 points from 13 - lampard
15 points from 13 - benitez
14 points from 13 - Silva
12 points from 13 - koeman

He,s just got to go,can only see 1 point from the next 5 games, then looking at the next 5 i only see 1 point also with the way this idiot sets us up to play, keep him any longer and we will be relegated in my opinion.

It’s a great point. He doesn’t have Gray, Iwobi and no fit centre forward as his only options like he did when he first came in. He doesn’t have world beaters but it’s a better squad than he inherited in terms of attacking and midfield options. He hasn’t improved them one bit or shown any attacking jntent. It’s all on him and the choices he makes with personnel and instructions he gives them.

….listening to his post-match interview, I think he’s given up. He didn’t seem overly bothered and knows he’s on his way out.
In fairness (it's really not fair, actually it's a massive kick in the face for working class fans who feel the pinch of paying for tickets to see the game) he can't lose regardless of our results. We keep losing, he'll ultimately get removed and get paid his contract anyway. Results pick up and he gets us safe, he gets either an extended contract or his stock rises to get a contract elsewhere if he wants one.

Regular people that continously underperform in their jobs and cause their company's value to massively decrease end up getting put on a PIP and fired without getting paid off.

So unfair the world of football, for fans at least.
