“Choosing “ to play doucs as a number 10 when he has other options is 100% down to him . He sets up his team purely with defence in mind and how we operate without the ball … and it seems, he completely ignores the fact that we need to improve when we have it .
What’s wild is he also has Doucs playing more like a second striker than a midfielder. What defense is he offering? Little to none, so what’s the point of continuing with him there even if Dyche is a defense first guy?

You’re right, it’s way closer to 4-4-2 than 4-5-1 and has been for quite a while now.

The symbol of a bright and more positive new future for FC Everton, the Everton Stadium will open its doors at the beginning of season 2025/26, with dinosaur Sean Dyche still in charge of the team. Really if the club wants to go down a different path they got to punt him as soon as the season is over and, providing we stay up, inform him of the decision as soon as we're mathematically safe.

Dyche won't be here by January at the latest mate.

The majority of them are naturally poor finishers tbh. We have no pace in the squad really, our wide players are slow and can’t beat a man and the fullbacks don’t (or are told not to) cross the halfway line

It baffles me how rarely any shot from the midfielders coming in hit the target.
