I’m not giving my source mate, so take it or leave it. Don’t really mind who wants to believe it or not. Quoting the jarg wage sites or the DM is taking it on equal trust or validity. Not actually trying to convince anyone.

But he’s on 80k +, he got a bump with his extension as his amortisation was 0 or relative.

Dele as well is widely misreported he was on far less then the 100k reported.

Think about it logically would Everton have offered a new contract to someone on 120-140k a week given alternatives for that wage and the fact we’ve been hell bent on shedding those contracts every window - no chance.

Its a terrible feeling going into the next two fixtures not thinking about winning. But thinking about keeping the goal difference down lol.
Potential to be 9 or 10 nil negative aggregate over these 2 games.

Doucoure is the second top earner at the club after Pickford mate.

We extended him because we couldn't afford to replace him and unlike others such as Gones he has been pretty much an every game starter.

I'm guessing Thelwell also had an eye on keeping him for a possible sale as there has been prior interest in the lad.

Can I tell you why I hate this man Mr Chico.

He is arrogant.
He thinks he is doing us a favour by managing our Club.
He thinks setting up for a 0-0 draw is a strategy and kick and charge is the ultimate attacking style.
He thinks that playing Southampton at home with 40% possession is him doing well.
He hates the fans as much as we hate him, except for the Dychettes of course.

I only want the best for this Club and all I can hope for is for the takeover to be finalised and then him to be sacked.

Hate is too strong a word mate. Is he really that hatable, does he really hate the fans? I think all this is just something generated by fans looking to over dramatically demonise a sports coach they don’t want managing their club to agitate until they get their own way? A perma state of hysteria and entitlement that is the tail wagging a very scabby dog. And strong feelings invoke others, be it either in disagreement or encouragement.

And then that dominates what should be a decent discussion in the spirit of what this website is. Some of the stuff written about Dyche in this thread really should be a call for some to seek some help in addressing their emotions and self control.

I know someone who drinks with him and says he’s just a really sound normal fella. Someone who might not be doing good at his job but that’s ok we can just say that and then boo and stuff so the club gets the message. Hate? Nah man come on.
