2024/25 Sean Dyche

Feel we've now entered uncharted territories a bit, a lot of speculation on what TFG will do.

My take has always been support stability and we had a manager with a skill set to keep us in the division within significant limits, that job has been done to this point in a really difficult context.

But what do you do when the context changes.......and thats where we are at with TFG. A lot changes in the short term and decsions have to be made. If the balance sheet is repaired and cashflow improves, deals that were impossible to get over the line suddenly become open to us, the position of the club in terms of attractiveness changes, while the public persona may change with the ground to one of a club with momentum.

Historically a change of ownership means a managerial change, if you pay 100s of millions for something, you are going to want to make you own decisions in terms of who is steering that investment.

So feel we are entering a changing context, were we are all feeling our way in the dark a bit, but history points to there being change, just because of change really.

Suspect he will get up to Forrest and we go from there. But feel if we change we have to prepared to attack the Jan window, because this squad is limited ad very few managers are keeping it up in my opinion.

If he does go for me, its job done, be very grateful to him.

2013 Benitez might have actually been a good choice regardless of his past, because he was coming off winning the Europa League with Chelsea, there would have been less an issue for that reason alone

Unfortunately for us we got the 2021 version who had relegated Newcastle and been in China for 2 years, that’s the issue, he wasn’t a good choice to replace Ancelotti

Yeah, but unfortunately for @nsno-chris, he chose to go down the route of constantly going on about Benitez being a kopite, and besmirching anybody who wanted to back our manager, because he was a kopite.

He'd have saved some face if he just left the kopite shouts out of it, because as it happens, he himself actively wanted the same kopite to manage us previously, and to the point where he actively argued and defended his wish to have Benitez become our manager.

Incredible scenes really, and perhaps the biggest ever case of hypocrisy I've ever seen on GOT, and that is indeed quite a statement.

There can be no other repones but to polarize everyone in the debate and lump them into one homogenous group and call them Raffettes unfortunately.

Bad luck.

The next three games are a free hit lads, no one with any credibility can be expecting anything from those games.

Notts Forest just before New Year will be tough too as they’re absolutely flying. We’re probably looking at that run of games at the end of Jan beginning of Feb where Dychey has to be pick up points if we’re being reasonable.
The only points Dychey will be picking up at that stage will be Clubcard ones

The minute you start @nsno-chris as the Everton version the bald Irish Liverpool fan off YouTube it all makes sense.
Manic, obsessive, no joined thinking, can’t answer questions, often throwing insults. Never anything positive.
Have a look at the good days in Everton’s recent past 2-0 Liverpool…

Next day few sarcastic comments

Everton beat wolves 4-0

Next day full on meltdown material…

How does anyone even bother supporting a club, dedicating so much time to hating everything about something?

14 points from 17 games would be really embarrassing for people that were calling for Lampard’s head after the same points haul but refuse to criticise this manager.

14 points from 17 games is not good enough. Good job his work here is nearly done though. He's got 6 months or so left on his contract and he's achieved every target up until recently.

If he's sacked tomorrow, I'll still be grateful for the good work he's done in the previous one and a half seasons. History will remember him kindly. Just like it does with Walter Smith, even though everybody was sick of him when it was time for him to go.

Lampard also got to spend £80 million in one transfer window and still took us backwards. Dyche has had £90 million, in 2 years. 2 years that have seen other areas of the squad naturally weaken.

Anyway, no points from the next 2 and he deserves to be heavily criticised.

Saying all that though, the end is nigh for him regardless. It would take something astonishing for him to still be here next season.

What history are you reading that remembers Walter smith kindly?

Personally think he will be remembered in the same vein as Lampard and Benitez. Poor managers who left us on the brink of relegation.

Yep, sadly that’s just the way it works. Dropped points against Southampton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford and Leicester have left us with no free hits until we can recover some of the lost points sadly. Over to you Sean.

Criminal what he’s produced so far. 6 points form next 4 is my acceptable total.

Matty, genuine question. What would you do now?
15th in the league. We have a man that has kept us up despite a host of problems the last two seasons.
Behind the scenes we have absent owners, players running out of contracts.
Whatever you say about the tactics and style of play, the players seem to be playing for him still.
At the start of the season the 90% of the fans thought mid table to bottom half was the likely position.
Thats where the team are:
Imagine you had the power to sack Dyche now would your move be, who would you get in?

maxo allegri babyyyyyyy
