2024/25 Sean Dyche

But do you understand why I think the argument is bat sh1t mate? When Branthwaite was good it was because Dyche didn't coach him, now because he's regressed, you think it's because Dyche doesn't coach him.

Who mate? Pickford? He's had some of his best seasons for us under Dyche

He hasn’t improved Pickford, he couldn’t even if he wanted to, he’s a goalkeeper, it’s all in their own goalkeeping coaching. He was also just as good pre-Dyche. Mental take.

We've one of the best defences in the league mate. I guess if you want to remove the goalie from that, you can.
We're about mid table for defence, 21 goals in 15 played. 8 clubs with the same or less conceded in less games played
For that we have sacrificed almost all attacking intent
Only Southampton have scored less than us, 14 in 15 games. Less than a goal per game as per Dyche's entire managerial career

I'm not sure our defence is that worthy of praise when we set up with 4 extra defenders

which young players have shown that they should be starting.
Everyone that has left in recent memory has proven they are sub premier league level. Thats not on Dyche. Players not signing. That’s not on Dyche.
If anything it’s indicative of the club he has been working with and done well to still be in the premier league.
I expect any new manager will also benefited from the defensive instincts.
Much the same way that Martinez did from Moyes on that first season.
I don't know which young players have shown they can do it. Under 21 football, isn't competitive. So only way to get real experience is loans or get played. But when we are 4-0 up, surely give a young lad 20 mins instead of leaving a 40 year old on for the full game makes sense?

Dyche made no effort to win, early in the season. In what was arguably one of the easiest possible starts we could have got. We play the worse football with least chance to score. 10 men behind the ball. Seriously what is there for a new manager. We aren't even guaranteed to stay in the league. Dyche lost me after the Bournemouth match. Finishing 4th from bottom is not success. Wake up

Tbh mate when Lampard left, we had a problem with scoring and keeping the ball out of our net. Dyche came in and improved the latter and he tends to try and build a foundation on that. A shape, everyone knowing their job and hard work.

We can fight all day about it but in my opinion, our squad won't be able to handle a manager who focuses on attacking, until we make some proper signings at full back and midfield. As said before, now that TFG I'm happy to say 'job done' to Dyche. Won't be angry if they sack him (provided they invest) and won't be angry if they let him see out his contract.
