2024/25 Sean Dyche

You're correct, when it unravels, it's not pretty. To be fair though, it hasn't unravelled too often of late. Like you, won't be unhappy either way and the writing is eventually on the wall for Dyche. Doesn't alter the fact that he has done the job required to keep us in the Premiership despite a complete lack of investment opportunity made available to him. Problem on here is that a small proportion of the vocal anti-Dyche mob resort to aggressive posting and can't debate.

Dyche will likely be gone by the end of the summer at the latest, so I guess it won't matter anyway. Nothing can stop me feeling positive about the future when all considered.
So last minute saves by Pickford means it hasn’t unravelled. Thank god we have Englands number 1 in net.

Also, think you’ll find it’s the Dychettes who resort to insults and condescending posts.

Lets be honest , he has been in one of the most problematic jobs in football management.
Despite the awful football , he has achieved his "brief" i.e. survival at all costs.
It would be interesting if we stay up , to see if he could adapt expansively to calmer waters.
Do I think that he will be given that privelege ?. No.
We should be grateful to him , owing to the circumstances , and the mismanagement of others above him.
He is not a pariah.

No he can’t adapt. He didn’t adapt once we were safe last season, and didn’t adapt early parts of this season before we were at risk.

It's over to Dyche get the results to keep his job or he will get sacked , simple as that.
Up to now there hasn't been anyone to sack him , think he was lucky to keep his job
if we had an owner in place suspected he would have gone weeks ago.
Results and the brand of football on show are just not good enough.
needs some good results to keep his job as this lot will not mess about.

Spot on and rightly so. He has been riding his luck for most but for a few he has done a great job

Yes, I did, and that's not answering the question. I'm on the fence regarding Dyche and think he should probably be replaced at before next season but your previous comment was just ridiculous.
So you don’t think a last minute save from Pickford prevented us losing vs West Ham?

Pickford being on top form has saved us more times than a goalkeeper should need to over the last 3 years.

What exactly was ridiculous about my comment? Considering I’ve given you an actual example of when a last minute Pickford save has saved us from a loss….

I really hope Dan's response to this quote was:
What Is This [Poor language removed].gif

And he is currently getting the hangman's noose ready for ol' Sean...

So selling cannon, simms, dobbin (and whoever else) for circa £30m, is a good thing, even though it means we have a positive net spend?

Considering they weren’t good enough for this level and weren’t being picked.

This is where net spend arguement falls down. Cause a load of the money we have made has been from players who weren’t good enough and weren’t being picked anyway.
wow great, well done. Every team has these players. We are still not investing in the squad compared to every other club. Which is where your argument fall to absolute nonsense.

Where on earth did I say that?

Of course it helped, but the recent form (excluding the Man Utd defeat) includes far more than that one save. He's definitely played a large part in our defensive record being right up there but so have others. I think you're arguing for the sake of arguing.
