They’d still be played in the same formation, he shows time and time again he does not really change formation and quite often that occurs during subs as well, just player for player exchanges usually too late in the game (barring one or two).

There’s always that conundrum between who sorts the targets, but if we are being linked with those types of players, as we were with Diaz, Minteh, and Kudus, I suspect it’s the DoF wanting them, not the manager. We need to strengthen if we can in January so will be interesting to see what positions we strengthen in and what he does with them.

Lets say Thelwell signed Garnacho in Jan. Clearly he currently would be a concern due to his lack of defensive workrate or interest.

Its then up to Dyche to make sure he drags that quality out of him and then he'd be a player that would be top quality.

You either go for that u21 age player with faults and who needs to be developed...or likely a championship or overseas player u25 that can have more of an immediate impact but may still need to develop and adapt to the league...

I get what your saying Peter. However I actually quite enjoy seeing the team get a clean sheet now. The performance at Arsenal for example, there is a bit of an art to that kind of play. And when you can do it as often as we have it really is something commendable.

In an ideal world we could have two managers, one who can train the players for the winnable home games and then Dyche for the games that we need to Dyche the opposition.

Definitely an art to a defensive masterclass.

Thats why I wouldnt be averse to an Allegri coming in and building something.

Weve had games (many forget) where weve tried to be expansive and attacking...some with greater success than others. We simply dont finish the chances or dont even create quality chances.

Give Dyche a couple of hard working attacking players that can add that sparkle and we may see a defensive minded solid team that CAN effectively finish teams off.

Thats something id be interested to watch rather than Postecoglu's Ossie Ardiles rubbish.

To be fair to him he is playing to the squad he has. PSR has made us gamble on loans and we have gone for work rate. We are going to run ourselves out of trouble.

When PSR pressure ends in the summer we will see what happens.

Dyche keeps us in the PL this season (he does make your eyes bleed though)

Will be tough, we probably play against the best team in the league now that has nothing to do with the version we played one year ago, City and them swapped forms.

Probably they benefit from this huge squad everyone laughed at few weeks ago with many games in a short time.

This is complete how much more of this are we going to have to put up with. First game out of the last few Im fully watching without just having it on in the background and I know why I’m not that arsed it’s just awful and the players match that as well. DCL has got a thankless task up there but the desire to get to the ball isn’t there that’s a bare minimum requirement 100% effort. Donkeys like Doucoure, Harrison, Mykolenko ageing players who can still do a job Gana Young but we’re reliant on them to be fit every week then a bench of players just making the numbers up Lets hope this takeover gives us some better days what we all deserve

In these games yes, but again I don't accept going with this mentality into games against opponents in our reach.
