We won’t be buying players for dyche in January, not happening imo. According to someone if it was on thelwell dyche would have gone a while ago and he don’t want dyche, he wanted coreberan. Not sure they’re thick as thrives, which is the narrative set bu the echo journalists

We have tbe lowest XG in
The league, which is shocking when you look at Southampton
whose fault is that ??

We'll definitely be buying in Jan.

Thelwell and any TFG advisors would be applauding the game today but seeing we have no cutting edge.

I think XG with DCL, Doucoure and Harrison as 3/4 of a front 4 is a bit of a challenge.

Other teams at the bottom are playing open football and i bet they wish they could have the fight we show and the tactical acumen (on and off pitch) to grind out results.

I’m looking forward to the end of the Dyche reign, but today was the distillation of what I thought we’d get with him as manager.

Scrappy performance, a few chances for us to win it - but a clean sheet and a hard-won point against excellent opposition.

Think it’s probably time for us all to hit pause on the Dyche war for Christmas, to be honest.

He won’t be here next season, and as long as we don’t get sucked down the toilet I can live with that.

Merry Christmas to the lovers and the haters.

We had mid-table numbers in that last season and should have scored more than the actual 40 goals, but can't say we have the chance wasting problem this season.

I think last season and the beginning of this season when Dyche sees us dropping points and conceding he goes increasingly negative.

Harrison, DCL and Doucoure while not great last season were superior to this season in terms of attacking effectiveness.

Also Onana created a few chances last season with 'long' passes...this season we havent really seen that with him gone and Garner out for a long time.

Grind out results 🤣🤣🤣 we have 3 wins this season and we’re nearly into January.
Like I said Thelwell wants dyche gone, him
and TFG ain’t getting all giddy about a couple of very good 0-0’s

Well he doesn’t have to play doucoure and Harrison.
Thelwell bought Ndiaye to play as a 10 not as a left winger

Yes there may be a few titty lips that Everton didn’t get beat today but I have a feeling of common sense returning to this thread. We may have to flush out a few and influence a few others but the calm pragmatic essence of this forum looks to be returning.

This pleases me @GrandOldTeam.

You dont see results being grinded? Like today and last match?

Who plays instead of Doucoure and Harrison and who is on the left instead of Ndiaye?

Hopefully pace/talent that can do it all on their own as he won't be able to coach anything decent into them.

Yeah, because you need the manager to coach how to finish this.

If we'd got him Minteh, Kudus, or any of the other players who cost money that Thelwell wanted we'd be much more comfortable.
