Im all for a top class manager coming in now if the money is there. Still think he did a good job when we really needed it
The real issue, I think, is that it's gone on far too long.

Would have been perfect for all parties if the takeover had happened at the end of last season, and he'd departed with his stock as high as it's ever likely to be.

He'd have still done the rounds on the radio, crying about how hard done by he was, but he'd have got over it eventually.

Friedkins only concern is staying in the top flight. Dyche will achieve that.

Makes no difference to the new owners if we finished 7th or 17th as long we remain a Premier League club. If they wanted to replace him they'd of done it already. Not saying he'll get a new contract but it's not 100% that he won't as some seen to think.

Not sure anything you're saying is true.

By that reckoning you're saying TFG are content with keeping Dyche and just getting us to the end of the season so long as we stay up. It's basically the same mantra that's been put out all season long.

It's complete and utter drivel.

Friedkin said he wants to 'ignite passions'
The only passions Dycheball could ignite would result in Toffees setting fire to BMD
Nobody spends as much as he has to watch that brand of football surely

Absolutely no chance Sean Dyche is manager of Everton beyond his current contract.

No chance, stop listening to the echo lads who think the sun shines out his arse. TFG have got to be nicey nicey first week and would never sack him straight away. If the manager they want is available he will be gone in the new year, if not they will wait to the summer. Not a chance he gets a new contract

Defending Koeman? Christ, along with Moshiri he’s probably the main reason we’re in this mess.

The reason he was fired early is because that team and group of players were hurtling to relegation and even the idiot Moshiri could see it. It was one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen and even after Allardyce rebalanced it with some common sense it was still dreadful. You think the football is bad now, I remember us scoring first against Arsenal at Goodison under Koeman and every single person in the ground knew we’d still get battered because we were an utter shambles.

Then the derby under Allardyce where I think we crossed the halfway line once when Rooney punted it to DCL and we got that pen. There was a Chelsea game as well where I don’t think Mina even got off the goal line the whole game.

Short memories. Koeman assembled Keane Williams Martina Schneiderlin Klaasen Sandro Siggurdson Rooney for over 100 million. Not to mention the money on Bolasie before he was crocked.

The only decent thing he did was buy Pickford.
That’s the thing though had dyche taken over from Koeman, we probably would have finished is a similar spot to big Sam , but the football would have been just as bad, that was a top Half squad.

This and big Sam’s 6 months is the worst football I’ve seen supporting Everton in 50 yrs

It’s not that they think the sun shines out of his arse, they need to stay on the right side of the club to maintain their access to all areas of the club.

Stock will be high at the end of the seasom
none of this is Dyche fault. Transfers based on accounting requirements not squad requirements.
Thelwell and Dyche have been two of the most unappreciated stars of this New Starium and Take over project.
Litterally nothing to work with and made us competitive. It’s been some of the best crisis management keeping us in the division and preventing further points deductions.
Think the issue is that people wanted to added sexy football to this crisis.

the options at our level were…
1. Cheaply assembled squad
2. Retain premier league survival
3. Play expansive free flowing football.

Unfortunately you can only ever chose two. And the the first two were the necessity.

If the new owners are coming in and throwing money at the project then we can drop the cheaply assembled squad, and add the sexy football.
All I know is that there are not American owners that don’t view football as a cash cow rather than a vanity project where you throw money left right and centre.
How disappointing that moshiri was the man to spend but messed litterally every purchase.

His stock will be high to championship teams or teams fighting relegation.

If he wasn’t getting a good job on the back of getting Burnley 7th, he’s not getting one on the back of 8 wins in over a year

Excited to see where he ends up then.

I think you're overstating this.

In my opinion, the aim for last season (post points deduction) was stay up at all costs. I had no real issue with how we achieved that, as long as we did.

Again, in my opinion, we have a better first 13/14 now than we did last season, and without the added pressure of point deduction(s) hanging over us, all I wanted to see was improvement on last season. I'm not suggesting 'expansive free flowing football', but build on our solid defensive unit and strong set-piece game by getting our foot on the ball more and building attacks and carving out more/better chances from open play. With the likes of Mangala, Ndiaye and the added pace of Lindstrom I don't think that's too much to ask?

Need to stay off the Christmas sherry I think mate. No way would you believe that if you were sober. They have only owned us 4 days and haven't even had time to put their hierarchy together yet. Even Marc Watts the exec Chairman is only temporary. Everything will change once they get their feet in the door properly. If Dyche doesn't start winning games very soon he will be very temporary too and even if he does start winning (which everyone hopes he does) there is zero chance they see him as their future Manager of Everton.
