Lindstrom needed an U21 game just to get fit enough to still look rusty against a league 2 side. He looks nowhere near ready to start a PL game yet, I’m sure he will do in time but I don’t see what the massive issue is, he was clearly miles behind where he needed to be with his fitness.

O’Brien was just in the door, he might not have even been fully familiar with all the set piece drills yet or with how the line pushes up and drops off and who makes those calls between the defenders and keeper. I’m sure he’ll displace Keane this season as Branthwaite did last season once fit.

All these players will more than likely end up being first team players for the vast majority of the season and moving forward beyond that. It’s not Armageddon because they didn’t start exactly when some fans wanted them to.

we’ve spent 60 odd mill on these and a loan

as we are crap
and needed better players

and he benches them for his bum boys

Well now we’re into hypotheticals. There’s enough genuine things to complain about without criticising Dyche for not starting players that he’s never managed.

Lots of people seemed certain Iroegbunam wouldn’t play much in the first team this season, some said not at all, lots said Dyche doesn’t play young players, he’s started in three games.

Loads were absolutely certain Keane would never be dropped for Branthwaite last season, he was and never got back in.

That was prefaced with a sentence setting the context of ‘last season’ but sure, feel free to ignore that and just pick a few words in isolation.

When all the CBs are fit under Dyche Keane is third choice at best and hopefully will be fourth by the end of this season at which point Keane’s contract is up and he’s gone for good.

He can play for Dyche's next team. I'm guessing Notts County.

That’s the problem, if all CBs are fit, he needs to be 4th choice by Saturday, not the end of the season
 
Issue is he's a percentages manager and it's all about the result. But what happens when he stops getting results because his football tactics or style isn't saving him. Just hoping we can get up to speed fast Saturday is huge.

When the alternative is Michael Keane you play the CB.

Also Doucoure has been bunk for months you get Ndiaye in there.
