He’s terrified of letting them play. The only possible excuse for him is that he knows this club and most of these players have had all backbone beaten out of them, and he’s hoping we grind some flukey grim wins to build some fragile confidence. It would make some sense.
But when you see the odd flurry of actual football, the players look like they enjoy it, the crowd enjoy it, the players are high fiving, we actually break lines and create chances, force saves and win corners.
He won’t go anywhere until we have new owners. But his way of losing is more damaging to the players than letting them play and getting beaten by better teams. Thats the natural way of things. Even the crappest team in the PL are trying to play some form of football.

It comes down to results ultimately - he likes to keep saying it himself.
He keeps losing and he will go, same happened with Benitez, same with Lampard.
I haven’t been a dyche hater at all, in fact in patches he got us playing some effective stuff last season and I thought he’d do fine to get us to the new stadium before we parted ways. We have majorly regressed though, the football has somehow got worse and we look a pale initiation of what was a pretty average side last season.
If a Dyche team isn’t defensively sound and hard to beat…then what’s the point of him?
