2024/25 Sean Dyche

Just got home. Brought a fullback on for a striker in a knockout game at home. The blip in the run going back to last season is the 5 wins. Not the losses. Dreadful. Well done everyone there tonight for trying to get behind the team. You could hear the "what the **** is he playing at" go around Goodison when he subbed beto for young. Who of course missed the pen. Not blaming the player.

I think those subs was about freeing McNeil to the middle and Young at left back, putting Ndiaye up front central. Initially putting Harrison left. Didn't work like but Dyche likes putting subs on and changing half a dozen positions to suit his cause............never works but stubborness is a hard thing to change.
I can see the thinking in moving McNeil to the middle but he isn't going to get on the ball if Ndiaye is up top and we are launching it. I think he has gambled on resting players for the weekend but if we lose again he will be practically out the door.

A few people say that the squad is terrible and we are where we deserve to be . And changing manager may not change things.
But it will give fans a bit of hope. And raise expectations a bit and maybe people will enjoy going to the game or even watching it . The disconnect at the ground tonight was scary .
That has to change. Changing managers is all that can do done immediately to maybe give us our club back. Because otherwise it's only going to get worse.
