2024/25 Sean Dyche

What else isn’t a fix, is keeping a crap failing manager who also failed in his last job, doesn’t understand modern football and is hated by the fans and players.

Have you named a manager who'd be willing to come in yet, who you think might do a better job?

Don't forget to factor in they know the club's a basket case, with owner changes pending and with £0 to spend.

It's easy to say all our problems are on 3 successive managers, less easy to look for the solution.

I would. He never stopped an attack or a cross.

Read in the Athletic this morning he lost the most duels on the pitch and wasn't at all surprised.

We're desperate for some pace. We're desperate for any threat at all down either wing, and yes, all day him over Young.

Ideally I'd like to see him given a go when Branthwaite is back and in games that aren't vs Villa, Spurs and Brighton, really.

We've setup players to fail for too long.
Well that doesn't suprise me either because southampon just give the ball to Fraser most of the time so chances are Dixon would have the most duels, I thought he was alrite, again he wanst great, but other options are astromincslly worse so it is what it is, he doesn't look like he's going to give a penalty away every time he makes a challenge like young, or break down injured like Coleman.

I wouldn't have any issue in him starting any game, he simply cannot do any worse than the other options

His games management is shocking.. He seems to be consistently make wrong choices and we end up losing. He’s ultimately to blame for that.
I don't know how to word it correctly but his substitutions, or at other times lack of substitutions always seem passive aggressive.

Its either,
I dont believe in subs....rubbish!

Or

You asked for subs......heres your f£%^g subs

They always either seem pre empted or him wanting to prove a point

So he's slated no matter what he does, isn't he?

Dixon remained right back mate - he was there winning corners from right back right at the last minute.

Besides, Southampton strolled past Dixon all game. People who think he's the answer are going to be in for a shock if he starts vs Leicester or Palace. Nice to see some pace though.
Roman Dixon swapped with Dwight McNeil after about 55 minutes and continued to play there until Ashley Young came on.

If people named Ancelotti as a manager who'd be willing to come in before we got him they'd have been laughed at. We don't know who's looking for work or who'd be willing to take on the challenge until Dyche is sacked and managers start distancing themselves from rumours linking them to us.

Have any names mate?

You see, the last 3 times we've needed a manager the shortlist hasn't been very inspiring has it?
I haven't mate, but it's not my job to go out and find names is it.

They did last time but they always did and panic and appoint the safest option they could.

Potter, Frank would be 2 names straight off the top of my head I'd be after.

Yes I know, Brentford are a much better team than us and frank would never in a million years consider us etc etc, if we pay him what we paid dyche he'd probably walk here.

Having a genuinely diabolical manager because he was a easy hire isn't good enough, we left lampard sacking late meaning we needed a quick bounce, with this season being so early we've got time to think about it and try and get someone less [Poor language removed] ( easier said than done I know)

It’s possible that he could just be, you know, making the wrong subs.

Are you still thinking about the answer to my question?
