@RAFUHFair enough
But I'm not going to be accused of making repeated threats on posters when it is blatantly not true.
I will not accept that allegation
You can barely get tickets to big games now when we’re utter dog, it’s next to impossible to get tickets outside of memberships or being an ST holder for games against the Sky 6 so I don’t see your point thereI suppose the point is if we ever get near to being successful again it’s the likes of you who will be crying all over the internet for tickets to big games,
He ran off to bed to be alone when we beat them from over park at Goodison last season. What's he said in his interview? Haven't seen it
1) yesSo what, I like to lurk, especially with the amount of vitriol regularly dished out on here. Fortunately, after those two years I'm out of diapers now, and I hope I won't wilt under the pressure.
Yes, I know all that.
Sorry..?
I didn't ask you to name me, or tell me what The Esk (any better?) has got wrong, I asked you to tell me the 95% accurate reporting that El Bobble has got right please.
In fact looking back at the first few exchanges, you haven't answered anything I've asked properly? Yet, when I discount some of your responses as inaccurate or ask for proof, you ignore them, and start another angle to prove what, I still don't know.
I don't want to fall out with anyone (else I'll just go back to lurking as my feelings would be hurt) but could I ask you three simple yes or no questions please?
If yes, here are the questions;
i) Did Dyche playing his dour football manage to keep us up in 22/23?
ii) Did Dyche playing his dour football manage to keep us up in 23/24?
iii) Will Dyche playing his dour football manage to keep us up in 24/25? Bear in mind he has a better squad (allegedly) but is struggling with players fitness, and illness.
Good wishes BB72
Excite was my personal favouriteWhat a clown. Success ha ha
Even you are misleading posting what he said, as it negates all pauses eye contact and body language etc. Which is more important than words said and written down.Everton extra twisting his words.need to stop posting anything from them as they are nobheads and constantly misquote other sources to get more clicks.
Dyche is wank and guilty of lots of things. This isn't one of them.
Full quote, after being asked if he still has the support of the fans:
"The fans come and go and they decide - you know - whatever it is. All I can do is work as hard as I can at work. You know, it's never something that I've over thought. I respect the fans here. I've made that absolutely, abundantly clear. Erm, the way they've supported me, the team and the club over many years, before my time here. So there's absolutely no question of that. All I can do is work as hard as I can to put a team together to win games and in some 20 months here - very trying circumstances..."
You’re absolutely right that people are bringing existing biases to their assessment of what he’s saying.Still struggling to see what everyone is fuming about.
I get it though. Everyone hates dyche now so you have to pick apart everything he says.
Not the first manager to have that happen to, won’t be the last.
I wonder how many people actually watch these interviews and press conferences, or do you all just go off twitter?
Anyway, looking forward to Farhad Moshiri picking another manager.
Yay.
I'm gonna be totally honest here and admit I hated him way before he started these trying times.I get it though. Everyone hates dyche now so you have to pick apart everything he says.
I watch them occasionally but never when live cuz it's a waste of time. It's 10-15 minutes of the same BS he'll say any other day now though - skirting around issues, slyly picking fights/pointing fingers at the fans, taking no blame. Nothing surprising really.I wonder how many people actually watch these interviews and press conferences, or do you all just go off twitter?
Couldn't have put it better, top post.I’ll be honest , I knew I didn’t like his defeatist football before he arrived .
I had no respect for his tactical ability , and have even less now.
He has lived down to every negative thought I had on him.
On Tuesday I sat and watched one of the worst matches I have witnessed involving Everton .
Two terrible teams .
But we still gave up the tactical initiative to a poor Soton side.
The only game that rivals it for sheer tedium is Allardyce’s Everton v Benitez’ Barcodes when Walcott scored a surprising winner.
I’ve been going to the game since the 60’s
And I have only missed 5 home matches since ‘75 , so I have a lot matches to compare.
If he had come here and proved me wrong I would have been happy , because like everyone else it’s Everton that matters above the managers or players.
But he hasn’t , he has performed as I expected , very poorly.
So yeah I’m out of the ‘wings’ now because I believe his continued presence is now a clear and present danger to our future.
