Yes but he is working with a poor squad like he had at Burnley. It’s a valid comment when his record at Everton is in line/worse than at Burnley which led to 2 relegations

Or 49 from 43 games. We know that it is not great but it’s easy to be selective. You're correct it's actually 5 wins from the last 26 league games.
5 wins, 8 draws, 13 losses over the last 26 games in fact. 23 points out of 26 games.
Sackable form by any metric.
I'm no Dyche fan myself.. but this is pretty much exactly what happened last season. Terrible start - strong finish. Not beyond the realms of possibility that it happens again. It's almost a 'feature' of Dyche's teams at this point..TBH almost any manager would fluke more points than that, turning 2/3 of those draws into wins and not collapsing multiple times when ahead in games. The 'form' shown by Dyche's Everton is absolutely diabolical and he should have gone over the international break.
In typical Everton fashion though he's been given more time to turn things around despite having shown no indications that he's able to.
Now we might have an upturn in form with Branthwaite coming back, but that says it all about him that the entire club's results rest on a young defender and he hasn't been able to find a way to pick up points without young Jarrad.
Its been the same throughout his career, you just think that any self respecting individual would look at themselves and the data (Dyche always talks about being into the data) and think "Does my pre season routine maybe need changing"I'm no Dyche fan myself.. but this is pretty much exactly what happened last season. He was asked the question in his pre-Leicester presser (I think) about his 'slow starts' and he basically shrugged and said he didn't really know why it was a thingIts been the same throughout his career, you just think that any self respecting individual would look at themselves and the data (Dyche always talks about being into the data) and think "Does my pre season routine maybe need changing"
I think this is most likely.I'm no Dyche fan myself.. but this is pretty much exactly what happened last season. Terrible start - strong finish. Not beyond the realms of possibility that it happens again. It's almost a 'feature' of Dyche's teams at this point..
@davek - Wouldn't have that mate...Got an enormous ego for a man that's achieved basically nothing in his career.
Slow start being the first 30 games? Considering we went 13 games without a win going into gameweek 30 and then managed to beat 2 relegated teams and 2 relegation battling teams. The Liverpool win was great but can you see us beating them this season?I'm no Dyche fan myself.. but this is pretty much exactly what happened last season. Terrible start - strong finish. Not beyond the realms of possibility that it happens again. It's almost a 'feature' of Dyche's teams at this point..
Isn’t it incredibly frustrating and probably revealing that he hasn’t sought to rectify the obvious issue by changing how he prepares a side for the season ?I'm no Dyche fan myself.. but this is pretty much exactly what happened last season. Terrible start - strong finish. Not beyond the realms of possibility that it happens again. It's almost a 'feature' of Dyche's teams at this point..
Nah, sod the data, let’s go to glasto. Its been the same throughout his career, you just think that any self respecting individual would look at themselves and the data (Dyche always talks about being into the data) and think "Does my pre season routine maybe need changing"
