Sorry but koeman and his tactics etc yes but everything else is boardroom level. Anyway that's another thread.

If Sean dyche comes then meh. But what can we do? F all exept moan.
Yep. There will be lots of moaning, guaranteed.
If he is appointed, I (and most, I would assume), will support him, and try to light another fragile fire of hope.
The smart thing to do would be to make sure the contract they offer is limited to certain milestones being achieved.. Milestones driven by ambition and not the simple mediocrity of seasonal survival in the doldrums of the also-rans!
Having trouble seeing this level of ambition by the board though, and that's what bothers me the most.

Bit harsh mate ya know. I mean I will always love Everton but from thinking we were going to push the top 4 ( from the very beginning of the summer ) to how it's all played out ... And to now be hoping Sean dyche or Sam allardayce will be keeping us a float. Forgive me for being pretty pretty deflated and underwhelmed. I mean obviously I will lower my expectations now to just staying up for the nxt 17 years and that's it, But hey COYB nil satis nisi optimum and all that jazz.

I am deflated and underwhelmed but I would never 'be done with Everton' or 'throw my season ticket back'.

Why cant we just get behind the team/manager once in a while?

I rate Dyche as a manager.

His team is organised, hard to beat and they can grind out results.

However, he is working at a club where the level of expectation, resources, squad personalities, etc are completely different to those at Everton.

For me, this would be Koeman all over again; someone who exceeded expectations at Southampton, but couldn't handle the increase in demand at Everton.

Everton wasnt even close to the "biggest" team hes managed.
