If Dyche is the only option I'd rather have kept Koeman. Koeman lost his job in large part due to the abysmal player transfer strategy, and now we appear to be making the same errors in manager recruitment. Dyche is the appointment of the myopic chairman. Hugely affected by recency bias. There are two options: a proven steady-the-ship type or a modern, energetic coach from the new school. Dyche is neither.

Completely agree

So who should we go for? Being honest it is between Dyche, Big Sam or Moyes? Take your pick out of the three candidates, I pick Dyche, no point picking someone that has no Premier League experience or isn't coming like Ancelotti

Leicester City won the league. They were considered relegation fodder the year they won it. They didn't need the money of the top 6, they needed canny acquisitions and a good manager to bring it all together.

Now, I'm not saying we can do that any time soon, but shocks do happen from time to time. However, with someone like Dyche there's absolutely NO chance we can do that at any point.

And he talks in the third person. I cannot abide that.
Leicester haven't challenged. They had one good season. A fluke. Then disappeared down with us.

I get that most of us want stability for the rest of the season, but getting Dyche would be so uninspiring.

So you'd rather stay mid-table than have a blistering PL-winning season then slip back to mid-table?

Without middle-eastern billions being poured into our club we'll not be a CONSISTENT challenger. But that doesn't mean we can't have a season of brilliance here and there.

Leicester was an oddity but calling it a fluke is unfair. No team deserved it more that year.

Dyche would take us down, vault me. He is coming into a team with zero morale, something he has never experienced at this level as he is used to having his own limited but hard working boys that look up to him and buy in. We are full of prima dinners that are either past it or believing their own hype and will be tough to get on board with the words from a bang average lower league man.

Might be coming round to appointing Dyche when I consider his management somehow disguised the fact that Michael Keane literally CAN'T RUN, he's a footballer that CAN'T RUN

He would take us down you're right and for all the reasons you state.

Allardyce the only one guaranteed ruthless enough to sort them out.
