May be the best Will Smith film I have seen up to now. Maybe as I have had a couple of wet ones, and in the words of my mate nebb, bubble bubble, but what ever.

Prepare to be gutted, relieved, lifted and smashed down to the floor in bits before the end credits.

7-8 out of 10 for me here.

A proper bring your wives, fiancee's, girlfriends or watch alone type film. No macho **** here I am afraid.

A proper wake up and smell the roses type of film.

Seven Pounds (2008)

thats a big call mate, i've not seen it but he is in some classy films, i just watched 6 degrees of seperation for the first time. The guy is an incredable actor, he's come along way from BOOM SHAKE THE ROOM:D

I agree mate. It is a huge call. But I lay my hat down. Trust me. I await you picking my hat up and saying"good call".

I was that impressed.

i'll make it my business to get a copy and get back to you on my thoughts. What was your #1 before 7 pounds?

I have 3. Possibly way off the scale.

The pursuit of happiness and Ali were ok

the legend of Bagger vance gets me each and every time.

I know. Not your normal choices.

I havent heard anything good about it in reviews, but Ill deffo be having a look now.

Fella. You are the walking knowledge that knows reviews mean **** to the indivdual. Each to their own and all that. I think you may like this one.

I am glad you have posted. i normally look for your reviews

I know, most reviewers dont know what they are on about.

The trailer was kind of strange and the film kept getting pushed back, I remember, this usually means the film isnt playing as well as the studio like and they either delay it to re think the marketing or re-edit the film. Or dump it completely Internationally and start making the DVD. It did play in the cinemas here, but I missed it.

I thought it was well written, very sombre, and well performed by Will Smith.

I nearly never bothered because Empire magazine gave it a really low score.
