Don't get me wrong, I like the Kings of Leon. Got their album over christmas, think it's decent. 'Closer' is imo the best song they've recorded thus far. But wtf is it about Sex on Fire?!?! EVERYBODY IN THE BLOODY FLAT IS PLAYING IT FFS!!!! Not just once or twice either, on repeat, loudly. What on earth?! It's not even that great a song (not even one of the better songs on the album), and it's appeal gets even less hearing it 24/7. GAAAAAAH!

In other news, Tesco's jumbo roasted salted peanuts are excellent, and good value too at a mere 48p for a 200g bag (y)
 
Its what is known as "media hype"!

Which basically seems to be annoying the hell out of people by overplaying and overhyping stuff.
 
Agreed. they have so many better songs. i prefer cold desert and manhattan off that album

a ha shake heartbreak was my favourite kol album though.

Whats the song Kings of Leon did a few years ago, kinda goes like this :

Its slow and catchy, and the only lyrics i can think of which may well be wrong are "...............songs on the radio" at the end of a line.

If anyone gets it from that i'll give them a million pounds.

or something... well its pretty similar. lol

The songs called: Fans" and its my bestest on the album.


Theyre superb, seen them live in Decemeber. Sex on Fire is horrendous buts its the one that got the general public really aware of them, shame as its mostly gash.
 
The only song more annoying than that is anything-by-the-*******-Ting-Tings.

Saw KOL in Manchester a few years ago, they were ace.

He's definitely not a virgin though, that was 'banter', a nasty rumour spread by the drummer on some youtube/facebook/myspace video.

They had an reputation for having a voracious appetite for groupies when they first started out, he's probably slept with more women than .... James Bond's dad or someone.
 

Saw them at Glastonbury where they were excellent - think that was the first time I heard Sex on Fire.

Wish they were still the band that when you said Kings of Leon, most people said "who?"
