Was just thinking about superstitions and if anyone has any- Im playing in my football teams cup final on Sunday and Ive got a few 'things' that I do.

I always wear the number 11 shirt, I used to wear 8 but one day I had to wear 11 and I scored a hat trick. I also wear the same pants (they are cleaned) and also have a ritual of drinking a can of redbull before a game and a bottle of lucozade sport during it.

Does anyone else have any 'things' that they do????

yeah wear the no2 shirt and dont pull my socks up until the games started dont ask me why. are you allowed to run around the pitch with a bottle of lucozade or do you stop for lucozade breaks! lol

We've got a little lad who watches us every week, if we need a drink he runs round and gives it to us! Slave labour really but he loves it! :D

careful mick that little lad might take youre spot in a couple of years then it will be pay back. good luck for the final who you playing for?against and where?

I used to have 2 superstitions: always wear number 6 or 16, and always lace up left boot first.

Still do the second, but a few years ago (and well into the veteran leagues) I was forced to wear a different number (I think 14) and promptly scored a hat-0trick before half time - playing as a central defender. So since then I've not been too bothered about shirt numbers.

Still lace the left boot first, though.
