Never had a care about them when first taken over and didnt really give two hoots when they spent silly cash this summer. But all you ever see on telly these days is man frikkin city. Mancini my Arse, Robinho my Arse, Lescott My Arse, Arabs My ARSE.

Do the media not get bored themselves of seeing and talking about the same ole shoit?

Theyre not even worthy of the hype on the pitch either. Boring football really considering the talent out there and the defence is shocking. Its all getting oh so tedious and now with a centre half as manager you can bet your bottom dollar they'll go all defensive and be even more boring

It was always top 4 this, top 4 that.
Perhaps the interest has swayed in City's direction a little, but it's understandable, as they're kind of a sleeping giant.
Last season, we did pretty well regarding coverage ourselves, and we tend to get preferential treatment over Fulham at the moment.

Loved the way Barcalona said they made a bid for Robhino yesterday publicly, but wouldnt be following it up because they felt City over valued him, lets see how City like a money bag club tapping up and disrupting one of their players for a change.

City are the ones people want to hear about at the moment. Just look on the first page of this World Football forum, this is the fifth thread dedicated to either City or Lescott.

The job of SSN and suchlike (*cough* **** Sky News *cough*) is not to inform people impartially about the world of sport, it's to deliver the highest possible viewing figures to their advertisers. The creating of the Sky 4 was a big part of this, and now that's beginning to falter slightly, they're changing focus to City, another thing the masses want to hear about.

They are the owest common denominator at the moment, the X Factor of football.

If it's the same Mancini I remember, he was one of the most imaginitive strikers in Europe in the late 80s through the 90s

One of the most imaginitive strikers in Europe in the late 80s and 90s. Don't know if it translates onto the pitch as a manager though
