It just doesn't work like that. I remember when I earned about a thousand euros per month (we used a different currency then, mind)and thought if I ever earn 1500 I will be so minted. I earn over twice that now and I still would like a hefty raise. Again I'm thinking "if I ever earn 5000 euros per month...", but realise I'd probably still like more.
In reality, most of us are greedy. There is no such thing as "enough" but for us earning normal wages it just feels like some amount would be so much we would never want more. Yet, I bet given the same choice in the same circumstances, we'd do the same. Everyone is forgetting that playing football is a job for these guys. If you earned 10000 pounds per week at your day job and someone offered 20000 you'd be gone in a blink.

I said sell him at the start . If I was manager his feet wouldnt have touched . 24 ( ? ) Million is quite frankly grade A madness for a player like Lescott . We should be happy about the fee the only down point is the time we have left to find a replacement .

i liked them as a club and liked the way they went about things ,like us they grew players instead of buying them.
when they got taken over and given a bit of money i was very happy for them. but now it seems all the 'honest' hard work they had done has been disgarded.
there attitude on a whole now stinks of arrogance imo
i have to say out of all the players they have bought , i still think ireland is there gem.id say he is the most exciting player in the prem at the moment.

They want to gatecrash the big boys who, apart from Chelsea, have been the big boys for decades, almost half a century even (Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal). But I honestly want all the top clubs to show them a lesson, bring them down a peg or two just to say £200million and you still cant cut it, get back to the drawing board.
They will get somewhere, especially when they hit the £300million mark spenditure, and will probably finsih above us, which is fair enough. Not good enough for £200million but fair enough.
The fans are all on cloud 9 with only 3 games into the season. It will be good to see what happens when they're in the [Poor language removed] at some point and try to get themselves out, if they can.
A win for Citeh against any of the top 4 will mean more to them than it did when Sven got the double of United. It will mean that they are going to win everything under the sun.
So Im all for watching Citeh get spanked.
