It's [Poor language removed] shocking even if they got the right man, mate. I don't hold with this mob justice thing at all. It sounds to me like we still have some very dangerous people in the community.I hope the police catch them.

Why what the police do? Put them in prison and they get a longer sentence than someone who jacks off to little kids, and worse.
Sorry mate, the system is what's shocking and if they handed out tougher sentences to child sex offenders and kept them off the streets, then this kind of vigilante stuff wouldn't go on.
You ask the parents of the victims and ask them what they think - are they happy that the sick individual who subjected their child to such horrors is now walking the streets, mingling with their children again? I would certainly doubt that.
Thing is tougher prison sentences are given out to people who are far less of a monster, and that is the shocking element. Vigilante's are the only sure method that something will get done, because our government are too slow to hand out real justice.
How about the Bulger killers. I'm sure there life is great now. New life, new family, what about the mum of young Jamie? What's her life been like since that day?
Its messed up, it truly is.

Well if the justice system wasn't so flawed then Vigilante groups wouldn't exist. Simple as that.
Back in the ancient times when someone was out of order it got dealt with efficiently and with a ruthlessness that deterred future criminals.
Now it seems prison sentences don't mean [Poor language removed] all when it comes to deterring a potential criminal.
It always seems to be better in the past.
Crime has continually declined since the early 1990's.
Do you have the figures to back that up Danny? I find it very hard to believe that crime is on the decrease. Things like burglary is down, but what about knife and gun crime?
Sex offenders? I mean I honestly believe Child porn is only really become prolific due to the Internet being publically available, and that has only been since the 90s.
Figures published in the British Crime Survey (BCS) 2006-07 show that overall crime rates held steady in England and Wales over the past year. This is part of a long-term trend - crime rates peaked in 1995, then fell by 42% over the subsequent 10 years. The decline reduced the risk of the average person becoming a victim of crime by 41%, although that risk increased by one percentage point last year. Police recorded crime rates showed violent crime rates fell by 1% over the last year - the first fall in that category in eight years. The number of police recorded crimes involving firearms declined by 13% during the same time period. Some crime categories did show increases, but vandalism was the only category to show a statistically significant change over the year - vandalism reports increased by 10%. However, even with that increase, reports of vandalism are still 11% lower now than they were in 1995.
