I read Joe P alot when he was at the Kansas City star. Never seen him write a footie article.

I was right in thinking that Beckham lit a fire underneath him. I remember saying in 2006 its sad becasue I'm never going to get a chance to see how good he really is. So if there was one thing I have to thank Beckham for bringing out the best in Landon.

Good read, Donovan seems to have grown up alot over the years.

I think people are going over the top though, if he really wants to 'prove' himself then he's got to do it for longer than 13 games. Given his talent and pedigree you'd expect to see him come back to a top League and have a real go at it.

It's a bit of a waste if he doesn't because that's exactly what the top players do, they have the mentality to do it week in week out at the highest level. Donovan needs to lead the way for outfield American players.

The scuttlebutt is that if he has a good or great World Cup, that you could see some serious bids come in but I honestly believe that if he were to leave the Galaxy, it would ONLY be for Everton. He's practically thrown himself at us and WANTS to play for us.
