Sick of the crying by "elite" clubs

The so called elite clubs have a point that drives me NUTS. Every season, you hear one of their managers "cry" about the "hard" schedule. They claim, "Oh, so many games." Hold on, they spend $$$ to GET INTO Champions league, and do whatever they can to win other cups... and they cry because too many games? If I were god, I would hear that and say, "Oh, too many games for them? Let me just kick them out of their domestic league so they can play in their Champions League of less than a doen games." My point is, these teams get where they are based on what they do in their domestic leagues. But then they turn around and slag their domestic league, by saying too many games. Don't want so many games in a season? Do poorly in domestic league so you don't get Champions League FORCED on you for next season.

Sorry to sound like a looney.

Cheers,

like your avatar, it rocks.

the imbiciles doing the moaning about games are really attacking international / friendly games at the same time pushing for the second team/reserve side being allowed to compete in the lower leagues to keep up fitness.

yes fat waiter, that looks like the devils lovechild with vanessa feltz, im looking at you for my sins.

Onion head is complaining about fixtures. Jose did the same last year and the onion publicly told him to accept it and stop crying(or words to that effect). How short their memories are.

It was a pain to make him stand still but it did come out rather nicely, didn't it. ;)

Another Connecticut based Blue!!!! We now number 3!! Whereabouts are you Carlos?
Vernon which is, GASP, next to Manchester, Connecticut.

I read about a year ago some youth club in CT has some affiliation with Everton, but I can't recall the team.

Oh yeah. Nice to meet you dude.
Ditto. Hopefully this forum won't implode.

p.s. My U17 Girls have blue kits. Yes, they too are Blues, though they don't know it. Hopefully SOMEONE will score for us today, otherwise we are starting to look like AJ and Co up at front. :D

Yes and it was these so called "elite" clubs that put pressure on FIFA to add painfully boring group stages to the Champions league wasn't it?

Exactly! That is what drives me mad. It's like they want their cake and want to eat it too. ie You made your bed, now sleep in it! None of the TV announcer or soccer/football pundits ever talk about this.
