Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell will not decide which club to move to until he has held talks with Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Sidwell's agent Eric Walters says his client will speak to the new Blues boss before deciding whether to go for a payoff by leaving just one year after arriving on a free transfer.
Aston Villa are said to be leading the Premier League clubs who are racing to sign the former Reading man.
Walters said: "Steve feels Villa are a very, very good club and would offer a very good future for him.
"But he is in no rush to leave Chelsea. There is a new manager coming in and he would at least like to meet with him over the next couple of weeks to discuss his future in person.
"He is entitled to some compensation if Chelsea agree to part with him."
What a fat greedy pig. No way would I want him anywhere near our squad. I bet his idol is VDM.
