It appears Kyle Naughton is alive and well.

People.co.uk - Tigers make call for Kyle

Hull City boss Phil Brown wants to sign Tottenham's forgotten man Kyle Naughton on loan for the rest of his survival bid.
The former England under-21 prospect is in the shadows at White Hart Lane after signing from Sheffield United and Brown is keen to bring him in to play right-back or right-wing.
Hull opened talks with Spurs at their game yesterday and hope to push the deal through fast.
Tottenham are open to the idea although they would prefer to sell Scotland right back Alan Hutton which would promote Naughton up their pecking order.
Brown is keen to get rid of Daniel Cousin, Caleb Folan, Peter Halmosi and possibly Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and winger Peter Halmosi.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson could rekindle his interest in Cousin, two years after he last signed him. Cousin went to Craven Cottage in January 2008, only for his contract to be cancelled a week later because he had already featured for Lens and Rangers that season.
Charlton would like to snap up Hungarian winger Halmosi on loan.

Naughton tipped for Sheffield United return - Fansfc

Kyle Naughton is expected to return to Sheffield United Football Club.

The right-back left the Blades for Tottenham Hotspur last summer, but he has yet to start a Premier League match for Harry Redknapp’s side.

Whilst there is no suggestion that Naughton could leave White Hart Lane on a permanent basis, there is a possibility he could leave on loan.

Reports in the Mirror say the 21-year-old is poised to make a return to Bramall Lane, where he would aid United’s bid for a play-off spot this season.

Shame. He could have done a job for us, made that RB spot his own, but im glad we didnt sign him, I doubt we would have signed Johnny and doubt young Seamus would have got a sniff, so all in all, all the best Kyle.

All bad things tempt you in life. For example, Manchester City, Liverpool,Tottenham.
Feel free to ruin your careers by joining any of the above teams. For more information just contact Andriy Shevchenko,Ryan Babel,Steve Sidwell,Joleon Lescott(i bet he won't pick his phone),David Bentley,Roman "who" Pavlyuchenko,Alan HUtton,Robbie Keane(when he was at RS),Robinho,Benjani....

I think it also highlights what we are up against and how well Moyes has done with the cash hes had.

Spurs can afford to spend £5m on Naughton and stick him in the ressys, £12m? on Bentley and stick him on the bench, £14m on Pavleychehehehhcooko and leave him at Home.

We all said it would happen.

I suspect that Kyle Walker is gonna get the same treatment unless he stays out on loan.

The club really should have a prospectus with which to offer players we want to bring in, a kind of "where are they now?" feature demonstrating why following the money / media hype / flash agent is not really a good idea.

Still, Coleman is better than him anyway, and was much cheaper.

Considering we ended up with Heitinga for pretty much the same money it's worked out very well for us indeed. Sad for him that it hasn't worked out but I can't think of any young British full back signed by Spurs that have done well there. Bale, Gunter, Hutton, Naughton et al have all been touted for big things and all flopped.

Spurs rumored to be near the completion of an £11m double transfer of two young players with 42 Championship games between them has got me thinking of all the promising talent that Spurs have caught a whiff of and stormed in with a massively inflated price and successfully ruined or delayed their progression.

Lets get a list going.

Gareth Bale £10 million
Alan Hutton £9 million
Michael Dawson & Andy Reid £8 to £10 million
Darren Bent £16.5 million
David Bentley £15 million
John Bostock £1.5 million
Chris Gunter £2 million
Wayne Routledge £2 million
Giovani Dos Santos £8.6 million
Kevin-Prince Boateng £6 million
Younes Kaboul £7 million
