An that’s my point in the last 25 years it’s been won by Arsenal/Utd/Chelsea and City a few times and once by RS/Wigan/Portsmouth
So 23 years it’s been won by CL teams, more money better players better squads. The magic of the cup is dead

Silverware has to be the priority as the players will get the feeling of success and hopefully shift the mentality to do it more often. We have winners in our side now like James so hopefully his experiences rub off onto the younger players to make it happen.

I love trophies and that's the point

But for the club, financially, ability to bring and keep talent, and stability wise, it's Europe.

Apparently they're going to change the European format in 2024... This safety net for elite clubs who failed to qualify just goes to show this is a money grab.
