Sky's coverage of this event seems to be like the nosy neighbour uninvited to a party they search round for any chink in the curtains, rifle the bins outside for some clue, question everyone coming to the party but just can't get in themselves. This morning's coverage goes over the top yet again its about about two English fans getting arrested following 'skirmishes' (their term) in Marseilles. It appears their usual over hyped clap trap was wrong again, of the two arrested only one was English, World War 3 failed to materialise and all is now peace and quite. They even had their cameras at Birkenhead docks to join up with N Ireland supporters on their way to France, bet they hoped that some type of trouble may have arisen on the ferry................unbelievable hype.
As for the players they've got some idiots, mostly Rancid's, who have volunteered to play a Mr and Mrs type quiz for the viewers, oh how we laughed NOT. These lads are there to do a job not pander to the whims of some juvenile buffoon posing as a journalist.
Sensationalist style coverage of this type is aimed at one thing.................viewers, lets get as many in as we can because no one will be watching in the evening when the games are on. Sky dominate sports coverage in the UK, unfortunately, but this sad attempt to hype up interest in their channel when others have the main event is downright pathetic...so bad that if you, like me, get cheesed off by their rampant crap, post the offending comment or incident on here.........................let's embarrass these anally retarded morons of Sky
