Before all you think, ahhh not another one of his threads lol... this is just a quick one !!!

Looking to take the mrs out tonight, somewhere real special

Can anyone think of anywhere around liverpool, chester or local to either of these that has some amazing food, good atmosphere and a bit of the wow factor !! (either inside or outside looks or views)

Also need to do something after, anyone got any good ideas? (and please dont reply with just a shag lol)

Dunno looking for something different and a bit of help wouldnt go a miss !!!

Cheers boys !!

 Now that I think of it, I suppose it was a bit mean... but I did mean another agony aunt kind of thread.

After is routine for me (you said dont mention it....) so ideas limited.

Maybe head to the docks for a few drinks? - If your paying, panoramic and the docks though = ££££££

Also maybe an idea to have a check whats on at the Empire?

Checked the empire, and it looks like a [Poor language removed] show i have never heard of !

Im deffo interested in that panoramic though. I dont mind spending a bit of money, and it shouldnt be that expensive, as ill be driving so on lemonade lol

Starters Under £10 x 2
Main around £20 x 2

and we dont tend to get deserts, so plus drinks probably another £15

so £75 in total

Not too bad !!

The panoramic is fully booked now until christmas

Any other ideas, that looked awesome as well lol

I doubt you'll get anywhere fancy on the day of a meal, most places you have to book a couple of days in advance.

Eating Out - Eating Out in the Liverpool City Region - The Official Tourist Information Website for Liverpool and Merseyside

Have a look here.

Case of phoning around and hoping for the best really mate. On the night though can be awkward.

Theres a place on Renshaw street called UNI (U and I...), small Indian restaurant for couples. I went a the other year for Valentines night, Not really a "wow factor" place from the outside but quite tidy inside, has seperate areas with draw string curtains, dimmer switches and a waiter button. Didnt notice they got used but the food was fantastic.

But as I said... not really a wow factor but if stuck for ideas, certainly a decent 'cosy' kind of place. Can hear what the other person is saying... some places in Liverpool thats a luxury.

just been told the Chung Ku (chinese) up on the docks near speak is nice, and also a south african restaurant in ellesmere port boat museum called jabula is meant to be well nice

they both arent WOW factor though

any more ideas?

ok, can anyone think of anything decent to do after, different is better !!

always got cinema etc as back up, but not too keen on that !

Booked the JAbula in the boat museum for 7:30pm... seems nice, and located on the canal, They said they will sort me out a romantic location

other ideas for later needed
