Player Valuation: £70m
Well as its clear that scousers hate England (most of them anyway), it will be left to us Evertonians who are not Scouse, but still Evertonians all the same.

First Half analysis:

[Poor language removed]. No creativity, no running, no intelligence. I hope this isn't the future of England, but with Heskey in the line-up what can we expect? He only plays well with Owen.

James: Bit dodgy.

Johnson: Lost ball too many times.
Jags: Solid at the start, got his foot in on occassion, but was left to look stupid by Villa.
Terry: Same as Jags.
Cole: Offered nothing, but he is playing with the worse left midfielder to ever play for England.

SWP: Unlucky.
Carrick: Poor
Barry: Poor
Downing: Wank, shocking, [Poor language removed], crap, piss poor, a joke. Shall I go on?

Heskey: Stop falling over, your ******* built like a brick [Poor language removed] house.
Agbonlahar: Offered nothing, very quiet.
 
but he saved us a couple of times before that!

him or heskey were are best players in the 1st half till that dodgy pass!
 

I wouldnt Blame Jagielka for the Goal - It was a great goal by Villa. I would blame him for the lead up to it though. What a [Poor language removed] pass. Maybe he assumed Carrick would be there, or it was just a bad pass, but it was [Poor language removed].

What annoys me most is he was doing well. 2 Great blocks against Torres (which went unmentioned!!!). I wouldnt be surprised if hte England fans just judge him on this, like so many did with Bridge against Croatia.
 
How you cant play an attacking mid is quite shocking. 2 DM and 2 wingers, its not going to work. Clearly he was relying on Pace and Height upfront, the pace of the wingers and the strikers to head in. It isnt working, bring on Lampard and Beckham.
 
James: too old now...surely theres a younger keeper out there?

Johnson: Loses the ball too much in dangerous places.
Jags: He looked good for a while, but started to looked scared of Villa and spain in general.
Terry: I think his season at chelsea has got to him....looks dodgy.
Cole: I rate him as the best in europe, but the same with terry.
SWP: Should have started with Beckham. poor
Carrick: Is he playing?
Barry: Hasnt done anything good or bad.
Downing: Not good enough at this level. Has he ever done it for england?

Heskey: Hate the cun*, looked slow and done nothing but fall over.
Agbonlahar: He needs long balls like he gets at Villa.
 
Awful pass, nothing wrong with the defending. Villa does that week in week out to be honest. Other than that he's been fine.

Carrick and Barry are not mobile enough and are sitting too far deep, that's the problem really. Spain are running rings around them.

heskey has got us some breathing space when needed! ok he could have stayed on his feet better once or twice! but he did good in my eyes!
