Speedbumps, Love em or hate em

What an absolute pain in the ass these things are. But I also see the benefits. Why have speed cameras in the same area also.

Despise them. They should be used sparingly, were I live theres hefty speedbumps every 100 yards....

abominations that can wreck a car. dont particularly slow you down either, the ones near me can be 'straddled'

when driving to work, I always use the same route. A couple of years ago, I came back at eight pm and it was already completely dark outside. Suddenly I got launched and all four wheels of my car left the ground. After coming back to earth I found out they installed a hefty speedbump earlier that day and didn't bother to put up a warning sign.
Felt a little like Michael Knight in the Knightrider during that moment.

Nuisance on the bike too. I regularly cycle up Highgate Hill and they have speed bumps all the way up. Knackers rhythm up completely.

cant see that being a successful family day out tbh, what with 3 kids, one who's just2 , a 6 y.o. who's mr. acheylegs, and an 8 y.o. who would do the cha-cha-cha all the way round.
