Shows that the Old Firm will never really get adequate competition. They get impressive crowds then the rest are very poor. Saw average attendances for the SPL and Celtic get close to 60k, Rangers just below 50k and the next best, Hearts about 14k! Hibs and Aberdeen just below that and the rest are pathetic.
Good to see JPK is pulling them in.

Gretna's problem is that they have to play home games 70 miles away in Motherwell while a new ground was being built in Gretna. I think they asked to play ay Carlisle but the SPL turned them down and QoS ground in Dumfries wasn't up to scratch. The guy who owns them is seriously ill in hospital and it seems that no one is even paying the players wages...........they came from nothing and could soon become nothing

Yeah sad state of affairs for them, too much to soon could kill them off for good. To be fair to them, they've faired well against most teams, and have hardly taken a hiding all season, i hope they drop down a division and stabalise the club.
