Terrible.

JournalLive - News - Breaking News - Sports Direct apologise over Hillsborough insult

TOON owner Mike Ashley's sports retail chain apologised today for selling a Manchester United shirt bearing a horrific Hillsborough insult.

Sports Direct also immediately changed its printing policy after a Red Devils fan posted images of the shirt on the social networking website Facebook.

The fan paid £55 for the shirt and the slur to be printed about the 1989 disaster which killed 96 Liverpool FC fans.

On it, he chose the number 96 and under it the words "Not Enough".

Above the number were the letters YSB - which stands for You Scouse ********.

The man’s Facebook page was shut down.

Today, Sports Direct said the employee who marked up the shirt did not know what the message meant.

Disgraceful.

i heard this today on the news and i was furious that this IDIOT hasnt been charged with anything for what he did.

at the end of the day its not about football things that sadly happen like that in football its about people losing there life and ive lost count of the times ive confronted city fans chanting mu*ich at matches and twice ended up in punch ups through it.

it sickens me anything like that and i hope the idiot gets what he deserves.

Your right there. I lost a mate that day. He was a sound lad and all he wanted to do was watch his side in a cup match. Now I hate the RS as much as any of us but it touched a bit of a nerve with me as I know his family. Not a clever thing to do.
