It has already been mentioned. Where the fluck are spurs getting their money from, or is it getting gambled on projected money if they qualify for Europe. It cannot be against money raised from winning the Carling cup as there is not that much to make. Or is it because the way it looks, if they lose to Chelski in the final then they are guaranteed a shot at the UEFA next year as runners up, as Chelski will be in the CL. If they fail will they be in a huge amount of debt.

Anyways. They want Puyol also now to play alongside Woodgate. Chimbonda is not happy about it I have read.

I thought the UEFA spot reverted to the league placings if the winner was already qualified for the CL or UEFA anyway?

That was how I understood it. The FA cup give the loser a Euro place if the winner is already in.

They did take a 50M loan out for a practice facility and scrapped the idea and used the money on players. Plus they had 17M from Carrick. Tottenham is usually on the top 20 money lists of teams and are richer than people think.

Its weird though, remember in the early ninties they were skinned even more so then us there was talk of them assest striping the club, and if memory serves me correctly wernt they in court once or twice over ownership and debt issues.

Its strange that their finacial can be so robust now (ok i know they were taken over) but they seem to spend about forty million every seaon on players in both windows.

How can they have had such financial difficulty similar to our own and yet now be big spenders.

Our debt just seems to be always around our necks, i know you dont here about it much anymore because we are doing well, but really we are restricted significanlty still by the debt.
