I actually had a feeling that Mourinho with his career on a downward trajectory, would come out fighting against the Super League, regardless of what his actual views on it are.

The fact that Spurs have done his bidding for him is quite amazing.

I think he'll be delighted with a pay-off from them. It's a job he never looked comfortable in or like he wanted.

I can see him taking a national job now.

This new league really damages Portugese football...perhaps he's genuinely sticking up for what is right in football?....who knows...

Liverpool play tonight, very interesting to see how Klopp interview goes

Yes I agree, I actually like the bloke, and if its on principle then absolute kudos to him. He will of course say it is.

I just don't see him doing this if he was manager of Real Madrid this morning or even as manager of Chelsea 20 odd years ago, if this happened back then.

It creates an opportunity for a lot of managers, they are all millionaires, its not like they have to toe the club line absolutely.

Interesting times ahead, and very much so with Klopp as well.

Spurs ownership sacking Jose and joining this ESL is them telling Spurs fans, we dont care about the cup final on Sunday.
