Just a minor complaint, but nonetheless a significant one, there may be other users who have encountered similar difficulties.

Sometimes/recently after posting about three or four replies the site page will go static and I can no longer participate, this is most frustrating and I can't work out why it does this.

Today even, after one reply (when i was already in a not very good mood) this happened, after one reply and I had no alternative but to log out, to some dismay and gnashing of teeth., usually this occurs after three or four but today took me by surprise.

Once again, log in, read comments, eager to reply, 3 or 4 posts, static site, can't go back to home page or other topics, have to log out.

There may be other supporters who are familiar with this, it's most frustrating and help or users who have experienced it can help, I would be grateful.

I have to log out now as I only have two or three replies, if that, left, and can't think of anything else to add, games tomorrow , but still, a frustrating issue.

I know of three causes for the vast majority of such problems:
1. You might have incompatible add-ons:
Go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools
and click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

2. Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Scroll to the bottom and click Reset Internet Explorer Settings. Read this
article first:
How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES):

Note that the Reset IE Settings button will delete AutoComplete data (such
as passwords.) Do you have those backed up?

3. Malware already installed on the computer: Help with malware

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for
malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you
owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.
