the kid is in hospital and has a broken leg. A spokesman for SG says 'he was driving very slowly when the kid ran into the side of his car' you draw your own conclusions from that one.

I was also very surprised that BBC teletext named the road in which it happened, Gerrard also lives in that road.

Something very odd about all of this, the kid is a Man U supporter, Gerrard takes a pair of signed Rooney boots to the kid in hospital today, as both players are preparing for important games they manage to arrange this, could it be a silencer considering the kid broke his leg running into the side of a very slow moving car..........................
