At the weekend something that made me giggle was the guy sat next to me got up out of his seat when we had a corner and shouted "Go on Naismith, rise like a salmon"

That was about as fun as it got.

Always puts in a good shift does Naisy. Not a very good footballer, but excellent at running around helter-skelter whilst looking angry. I suspect he will remain loyal to Everton despite big money offers seeking his services elsewhere. In this regard he is similar to Hibbo...legend.

He banged in 6 goals last season. We need someone who can unsettle the defense and Naismith is our lad. I think people underestimate his football intelligence.

I like Naismith, great squad player. Reckon his goal tally this season will be 10-15 in all competitions, which is exactly what you'd hope for from a player like him. Top guy.

Did well - his 'limitations' were clear at that point when he found himself unable to pull away from the s/hampton players jockeying him, where perhaps Mirallas/Gerry might've beaten his man and threatened the goal... however in this same instance he kept hold of the ball and worked the clock down, which is perhaps perceived as even uncharacteristic of him by some, with his tendency to kill attacks with a clubfooted touch.

But If we're willing to accept that we haven't been playing to Lukaku/Kone's strengths, I think we should have a concession for wee Naisyeste too, for the sake of not underrating him too much... even if playing to his strengths is admittedly not as big an interest.

But he's proved he can slot, I'd back him to have a purple patch some point this season and notch a few from the bench against tired defences, and prove his value to us.

Waste of space, god knows how he gets on ahead of del and kev, his second touch is always trying to control his first and he can barely complete a 5 yard pass
