I am writing this just as Villa take the lead and that makes it 9 game now without a clean sheet going back to last season.
 

Are you going to be happy if our team let in goals in 20/30 games every season? That's almost 3/4 of all games we are going to play. Not me. I know what my expectation is and I know this team is highly capable of keeping clean sheets. Right now we can't and it's a point to be concern not something to brush aside.

so you want us to be better than Real Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, get real and have a positivity injection ffs.
 
We [Poor language removed] had a brilliant defensive record last season, we're supposed to be moving forward not backward, thats the point. Letting in this many, you'd hope the defense would get a wakeup call.

I was thinking this the other day, clean sheets are a victory for the keeper and the defenders IN THEIR OWN WORDS!

We have been leaking goals like anything and its bad, its really bad.

Villa have put two past us and metalist walked past us and scored, our defence isn't performing as it has done and its costing us dear.

Support isn't blind.

Fount of all knowlege what makes you think that the club is not owrking on it, if we can see it then they can FACT. That is the same management team that produced last years defence and in them I trust FACT
 

Nobody is making a comparison with them. It's about our clean sheet for [Poor language removed] sake. We spend 10 million on defender(some said best since 80s) for the purpose of making it stronger, and it's suppose to be stronger than last season so why can't we see more clean sheets? I'd be surprise to see moyes coming out and said "oh well, that's nothing to be concern about."

can you tell me where I've said 'oh well .............' more invention?

We have the same team, the same players, the same management as last season and they will sort it, why do you think they won't?
 
FACT is that we keep on conceding.

I trust them too but this thread isn't about trust its about conceding goals, and no matter the opposition we keep on conceding.

As I said, support isn't blind and conceding a goal every game is the main problem right now.
