TX Bill

Player Valuation: £80m
I was watching FSC Report tonight and they did a quick rundown of the transfers. Anyway, am I the only one who thought that Stoke didn't do too bad for themselves in the transfer market as far as incoming transfers?

Icelandic forward Eidur Gudjohnsen from Monaco
Jamaican midfielder Jermaine Pennant on loan from Real Zaragoza
Forward Jon Walters from Ipswich Town for a fee of €3m
Trinidad and Tobago forward Kenwyne Jones from Sunderland for a fee of €9.7m
Goalkeeper Carlo Nash from Everton
Belgian midfielder Florent Cuvelier from Portsmouth

I gotta say that I think they did ok on a limited budget.

Yeah I think they've done well too, and they already have a few decent players like that Turkish lad. Unfortunately for them they won't see a lot of the ball at their feet, just get sore necks!

If their budget is limited, I'd like to know what ours is

They signed some good players though. Perhaps Pulis wants to play more ball, less rugby.

Don't thnk that's a limited budget, but yeah I think they bought well. Wouldn't have minded Kenwyne Jones and Pennant tbh.. Even if he is ex [Poor language removed]

Jones is a good buy, Pennant and Gudjohnsen also can be succesfull, but Pennant needs to be more consistent on a right wing, and Eidur will need to show that he still have legs to play in centre of midfield - he will struggle to find minutes as forward.

They didn't buy any creative centre midfield, as well as decent fullback, so they didn't do as well as they should be, especially when doing well financiall because of Coates support.
