Strategic Review of club

….and so in conclusion and after thorough review it has been determined that we should just roll the effin dice and see what happens eh

First and foremost we are a football club and should be aiming to be a successful one. Branding ourselves as the 'people's club' has really set the tone and the standard expected at the club, it's almost suggests that we are just happy to be in the mix - jobs for the boys, and that's spilled out onto the pitch.

Looks at the operational dogshow that is Everton Football Club

That Moyes catchphrase from 15 years ago is the real problem here

This is a farcical exercise unless external assessment is requested.

Self evaluation is fine if you have an elite winning mentality. Otherwise it should be avoided at all costs.

The strategic review should have been basic.

You could have literally got your binoculars out of Goodison and see across Stanley park at how a football club is ran.

Within 6 months of FSG coming in, they’d completed a review, gutted all the personnel they didn’t think were up to scratch and implemented the system they use at Boston Red Sox on Liverpool.

Appointed their main men in all areas, then brought in layers and layers of understudies, so when people depart (which can happen in football), you’ve got your replacement made.

They worked the brand, they saw a market for a US brand, they got commercial amazingly well.

But back to the stuff, they hired experts to bring in the best men, the men who could turn the club round and make them money.

We’ve had 7 years of just scattergunning ideas, and some, some have been a little bit unlucky, but could have been controlled… Walsh was wrong, Moshiri went for Loeman and they all went diving in to build a team with out comms.

But some decisions have been awful and Moshiri needs to stop, reflect on what’s gone wrong and identify the issues.
I’ve no doubt that Kenwright, Sharp, Baxendale, Unsworth etc all love Everton, but they’ve been figureheads in a barren spell.

Moshiri can change, but he needs to realise it.

Today, hopefully made a really good dent in the issues we as supporters feel are occurring, aside from one idiot vandalising the stadium, the message was clear, the behaviour was solid and the press were ready.

It’s not too late, but fix your mess, and quickly.

Strategic review of club: The fans are catching up to the fact that Kenwright is just using Everton as a jobs program for his incompetent mates and Moshiri is just using Everton as a jobs program for all the players connected to Kia Joorabchian, and they need to find a way to cover their tracks again.

Hi All,

I am by no way an expert. I do have a question though. Does anyone know who is doing the strategic review of the club. I do believe this is needed more now than ever. However, if it is being led by DB, Bill, Sharpy then is that not a problem right there? Surely we need an outside team to do this for it to be real? Any thoughts? Also what are the rumours of Cahill joining?

Thanks
Paz

Apparently it's

Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub

And Cahill
